Arise My Soul | Summer 2021

The book of the Psalms is often called "the songbook of God's people." We are invited to step into this collection of prayers and songs--to learn from these prayers and songs and to make them our own. In doing so, we acknowledge that there are things in our lives and in our world that cause discouragement, fear and confusion. At the same time, we declare to ourselves, to each other and to the world that we are not left alone in that state. Storms will come, and so we seek to make God our refuge and to look up to the steadfast love of God, promised centuries ago and secured by Christ. Join us this summer as we say, "Arise, my soul!"
